Dr. William Cooper established his private practice in 1985. His sincere dedication to the overall well being of his patients enables him to care for their gynecological needs, ranging from preventative screenings to a wide range of disorders. He deals with estrogen replacement and hormone replacement for the menopausal females and can also help with contraceptives for patients of child bearing age.

In addition to gynecology, Dr. Cooper specializes in infertility and endocrinology.

He understands the physical and mental stresses associated with problems of the infertile couple. There is a dedicated RN who serves as the infertility coordinator. She is available to help arrange all aspects of treatment in the office or in coordination with any IVF center of your choice.

Many aspects of his practice provide comfort to patients, ranging from the medial expertise and compassion to warmed speculums and heaters in the exam rooms.

Dr. Cooper, a native of Florida, is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, and the University of Florida Medical School. After finishing his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Johns Hopkins University, he completed memberships with the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society of Reproductive Surgeons, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Cooper was State Licensed in Maryland from July of 1981 to June of 1985. He is State Licensed in North Carolina since 1985 to present. He is also Board Certified with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
